...after a busy working day when I stopped at the petrol station. While the car was refueled I saw that big SUV in front of me with a Mannheim license plate and a TriDubai-sticker on the back. Hmm, who is from Mannheim and member of the TriDubai Professional triathlon team? I know one. Or is it just a fan?
Hmm, I went in to pay and directly faced Norman Stadler, the brand-new Ironman world champion (see below).
Cool, I had met him several times before at local triathon races, but this time it was unexpected. I congratulated him and went home, somehow happier than before.
