The first ten days of the training plan went well, I did all of the 100 kms that were scheduled. But yesterday it was somehow unpleasant. First a dog crossed my way, which thought, joggers are there to play with. Later heavy pain turned up in the middle of my left feet. I don't know why and how, may be the last days have been too much training? Or did I simply had an unlucky step? I don't know. All I know is, that even walking hurts right now. But the marathon is still months away, so I shouldn't worry.

On the weekend I'll be in Bremen visiting a former fellow student, before returning to Ingolstadt on Monday.

Marathon Training Plan
This week I started the preparation for the Barcelona Marathon, a 10 week plan written by Steffny and Pramann (book). I choose the training plan for a 3:15 time, which means 54 to 91 km per week, 750 km overall. Let's see if I'm motivated enough to stick to the plan. If so, I may set a new personal best in Barcelona, improving my current 3:25 from the Berlin Marathon.

Until now it is fun, running through the snowy and hilly landscape of my hometown.

Daily Jolle...
3 months since the last time I locked myself out of my apartment. So it was already overtime to happen again. Today I simply took the wrong key when leaving for a swimming session with Tim.

But this time I had no open window to crawl in, so an emergency door opener had to come. He needed almost 30 minutes to come in, therefor the fee of 30 Euro was fair, I guess.
The coming weeks...
On Saturday I'll leave Ingolstadt with a rental car and visit my granny on the way home. I'll stay in the North til the end of January, visiting some friends.

In February I'll be in Ingolstadt, start the application process before taking the March off for a long Spain holiday. On March 21 the Barcelona Marathon will be my first big run this year. (See a nice race report from last year.)

That's it for now. Have fun, Jolle!

It's over...
The last sleep had been on Monday, the last food on Tuesday. But now it's over, I finished writing half past eleven and filed the thesis at midnight in the universities post box. Now I just can wait and see.

I don't know what to do next, I haven't thought about it yet. But after getting some sleep I will let you know. See you, Jolle!

Astonished...
...to find my two sites at number one and two at Google.com. What a New Year Surprise.
